Idukki
Idukki town is the district headquarters of the largest district of Kerala. The town is a popular tourist centre known for the Idukki damn,Asia’s first and largest arch dam. The Periyar river flows through the heart of the town.

The nearest railway station is in Theni (Tamil Nadu) and is 60 kms from Idukki. The Kottayam railway station is at 140 kms and Ernakulum station at a distance of160 kms.
